Faker than lovers- Short story

Love or just fake love?”

It was a colorful cocktail party and it looked every classy and glamourous. Christy was certain that the crowd were the decent lot, where she was so ready to meet someone new.

She picked each man in a suit carefully with her eyes before analyzing every detail about them. He looked at their manicured nails, to the well carved beards, then their elegant suit to their shinning shoes. It was like tinder, a game she played in her own world where she checked her potential suitors and crossed out the ones she didn’t fancy.  Lost in her own world, far from everyone else, yet right there with everyone.

The music provided interlude, but her eyes roved the hall looking for a suitor.
